DONAL DORR Donal Dorr is a Kiltegan missionary and a theologian and facilitator. Having taught philosophy and theology in his early career, he moved on to work for twenty years in community animation and leadership training in Africa and Ireland. In recent years he has focused more on organising workshops emphasising creativity and spirituality for people in leadership and management roles as well as workshops and retreats for 'spiritual searchers'. He has served as a consultor to the Vatican Council for Justice and Peace. He is the author of several books of which the best-known are Spirituality and Justice, Option for the Poor, Divine Energy, and Mission in Today's World. ANNE CODD Anne Codd is a Presentation Sister, who has worked in education in Ireland and in the UK, in parish ministry, and in training people for leadership and administrative roles in pastoral settings. Currently she is part-time Director of the Pastoral Office of CORI, and also offers consultancy and facilitation in pastoral/organisational development. Her doctoral dissertation (TCD, 2000), Church as Community : Theological Foundations and Development in Practice, focused on the parish, based on the ecclesiology of Vatican II. She has a special interest in Vatican II as process. PASCHAL SCALLON Paschal Scallon is a member of the Vincentian Community. Since 1996 he has been a member of the Ember Mission Team, which is the Vincentian Community’s parish mission initiative. He is the secretary of the national executive committee of the NCPI and has been especially interested in the proposal that there should be an assembly of the Catholic Church in Ireland. In 2001 he completed a Master’s thesis on the topic A Study of Organisational and Theological Questions Related to the Establishment of a National Assembly of the Catholic Church in Ireland. Ends |
